Financial Analyst

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $110,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long term financial planning activities to help guide business performance.
• Develop financial models, management reports, and dashboards that provide actionable business insights.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and operational metrics to identify trends and performance drivers.
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate spending, improve forecast accuracy, and support strategic initiatives.
• Prepare financial analyses, variance reports, and presentations for leadership and special projects.

Requirements

• A Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning, financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related role.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
• Possess advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting, planning, or enterprise systems.
• Maintain the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering accurate work within established deadlines.

• Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate financial data and identify business opportunities.
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail when preparing reports, forecasts, and financial analyses.
• Communicate complex financial information clearly to both financial and nonfinancial stakeholders.
• Work independently while collaborating effectively with cross functional teams across the organization.
• Bring experience with inventory analysis, profitability reporting, consumer products, retail, wholesale, ecommerce, or related industries considered beneficial.
