Mammo Tech I Job Summary

The Mammography Tech I is responsible for the preparation and performing of all mammographic procedures and providing patient care.

What You'll Bring To The Team

• Ability to perform mammographic x-ray procedures with the willingness to learn additional biopsy and breast ultrasound procedures and protocols.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Proficient reading, writing, grammar and math skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of digital mammography
• Familiar with electronic Patient Health Information including medical records, order entry and patient tracking.

Licensure And Certification

• Current State of California License - CRT (R)(M)
• ARRT (R)(M) preferred
• Current BLS provider card

Education

• Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology and Mammography program

Experience

• New grad or less than two years of experience in the field of mammography

The Mammography Tech II is responsible for the preparation and performing of all mammographic procedures and providing patient care.

Knowledge And Skills

• Ability to perform mammographic x-ray procedures with the willingness to learn additional biopsy and breast ultrasound procedures and protocols.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Problem solving skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of digital mammography
• Familiar with electronic Patient Health Information including medical records, order entry and patient tracking.

Licensure And Certification

• Current State of California License - CRT (R)(M)
• ARRT (R)(M) preferred
• Current BLS Provider card

Experience

• Minimum two years of dedicated breast imaging.

The Mammography Tech III is responsible for the preparation and performing of all mammographic procedures and providing patient care.

What You'll Bring To The Team

• Ability to perform mammographic x-ray procedures, biopsy and breast ultrasound procedures and protocols.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Problem solving skills
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of digital mammography
• Familiar with electronic Patient Health Information including medical records, order entry and patient tracking.

Licensure And Certification

• Current California License - CRT (R)(M)
• ARRT (R)(M) (BS) required
• Current BLS provider card

Experience

• Minimum five (5)years of dedicated breast imaging.
