About The Role
The role is the engine of new revenue: identifying, qualifying, and converting target accounts into booked meetings for enterprise account executives in the cloud infrastructure and data platform space.
You will own a defined territory and work a high volume of outbound activity in a fast-paced, quota-carrying environment with clear metrics, structured coaching, and a defined path to account executive roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute outbound prospecting across phone, email, LinkedIn, and video messaging to book qualified meetings with IT and data leaders
- Research accounts using tools like ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Gong to identify buying signals and personalize outreach
- Qualify inbound demo requests against ICP criteria (company size, tech stack, budget authority) before routing to account executives
- Own weekly and monthly targets for dials, connects, conversations, and sourced pipeline dollars
- Manage all activity and next steps in Salesforce, keeping records accurate and complete for forecast reporting
- Run multi-touch sequences in Outreach or Salesloft, and iterate on messaging based on reply and meeting-conversion data
- Partner with marketing to give feedback on campaigns, events, and lead quality
What We Are Looking For
- 0-2 years of experience in SaaS sales, business development, customer success, or another metrics-driven, customer-facing role
- Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical buyers
- Coachable and resilient: actively seeks feedback, learns from losses, and maintains energy through rejection
- Competitive and target-driven, with a track record of hitting measurable goals
- Comfortable working full days of phone and email outreach in a remote setting
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field preferred
- Bonus: familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, or Gong; prior exposure to cloud, data, or DevOps tooling
