Job Duties

• Represent clients in all phases of civil litigation, including discovery and trial.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, discovery, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Appear in court.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Assist with trial preparation.
• Manage multiple matters while meeting deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other legal professionals.
• Utilize legal research and document management software as needed.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Admission to the California State Bar required.
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and support staff.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with legal research and document management software.
