Key Responsibilities For The Director Of Human Resources
- Lead the overall HR strategy, policies, and people initiatives across the organization.
- Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and succession planning.
- Oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and performance management programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and labor regulations.
- Manage union-related HR matters and support positive labor-management relationships.
- Develop employee engagement, retention, and leadership development programs.
Qualifications For The Director Of Human Resources
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including HR leadership responsibilities.
- Union labor relations experience required.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
$130K-$150K
