Welder

Position Summary

We are seeking a Skilled Welder with experience in mild steel welding. The ideal candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings, accurately use a tape measure, and successfully complete a weld test at the time of interview.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform MIG welding on mild steel components
• Proficient in the use of basic hand tools
• Accurately read and interpret tape measurements
• Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
• Follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail
• Safely lift and maneuver materials up to 75 lbs

Education, Experience, And Skills Required

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in welding or a related field
• Prior experience in MIG welding required
• Strong understanding of shop drawings and fabrication processes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
