Director Managed Care

Responsible for negotiating and managing all Managed Care contracts for St. Joseph's Healthcare System. Coordinates with General Counsel for all Legal issues and approval of Managed Care Agreements. Communicates with various Department heads, including the Director of Patient Financial Services, Director of Care Management, and others, to ensure appropriate coordination and support of System wide financial and operational objectives.

Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or closely related field, Master's degree preferred, and five to seven years of Healthcare, specifically Managed Care Services and/or Operations experience required. Work requires analytical ability to collect information from diverse sources and apply professional principles in performing various analyses and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems.
