Frontend Engineer

About The Role

The role focuses on building polished, high-performance user interfaces for products used by millions of customers. Work spans complex client-side state management, design system architecture, and rendering performance optimization in modern React and TypeScript codebases.

You will partner closely with product designers, backend engineers, and PMs to ship user-facing features end-to-end, with direct ownership over what users see and interact with.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production user-facing features using React, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks
• Architect and evolve a shared component library, driving consistency across web and responsive mobile web surfaces
• Own performance: bundle size budgets, Core Web Vitals, code-splitting, and lazy-loading strategies
• Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, handling caching, error states, and optimistic UI updates
• Write comprehensive tests with Jest and React Testing Library; contribute to E2E coverage with Playwright or Cypress
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and pairing sessions with designers and engineers
• Instrument and monitor client-side errors and performance using tools like Sentry and Datadog

What We Are Looking For

• 3–6 years of frontend engineering experience building and shipping production web applications
• Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and React (or a comparable modern framework)
• Strong grasp of browser internals: rendering pipeline, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with state management at scale (Redux, Zustand, or similar) and modern build tooling (Vite, Webpack)
• Track record of measurable frontend performance improvements in production environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Bonus: experience with design systems (Storybook, Figma workflows), mobile frameworks (React Native), or GraphQL tooling
