Bender CCP is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team in Kent, WA!

If you enjoy working on challenging machining projects, handling complex components, and putting your machining skills to the test, this is an opportunity to do just that.

At Bender CCP, no two projects are exactly alike. You'll work on a wide range of industrial components and equipment used in industries such as aerospace, paper mills, food manufacturing, and heavy equipment. From precision milling and turning to line boring and flange facing, you'll help manufacture, repair, and restore critical components that keep industrial operations running.

Pay: $25.00–$40.00 per hour, depending on experience.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC and manual lathes, mills, and boring machines.
• Machine precision components for new manufacturing and equipment repair projects.
• Perform specialized machining operations, including line boring, milling, flange facing, and keyway cutting.
• Work on a variety of components, including shafts, journals, pump bases, rolls, gearboxes, valve components, and more.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications.
• Edit G-code programs and make machining adjustments to achieve required dimensions and finishes.
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
• Maintain quality standards, safe work practices, and an organized work area.

What We're Looking For

• Experience setting up and operating CNC and manual machining equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of G-code programming and CNC machine setup.
• Strong understanding of precision machining, tolerances, and inspection methods.
• Experience machining or repairing large, heavy, or complex industrial components.
• Ability to work independently and produce quality work in a job-shop environment.
• Commitment to safety, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Experience That Will Make You Stand Out

• Experience with line boring, flange facing, or large-part machining.
• Experience operating CNC lathes, mills, horizontal or vertical boring mills.
• Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, or other CNC controls.
• Background in industrial equipment repair, rotating equipment, or manufacturing.
• Experience working with overhead cranes and handling large components.
