Overview
Shermco Industries is seeking a Panel Shop Technician.
Qualifications
- Two-year Associates degree in Automation & Controls, Instrumentation, or similar technical program highly preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years industrial electrical and controls experience
- Thorough understanding of computers, MS Office, basic networking
- Electrical understanding of motor controls, VFD’s, control loops, pneumatic/hydraulic theory, industrial networking, relay logic and analog & digital signal loop theory.
- Basic understanding of Rockwell Automation Logix5000, RSLinx and similar software.
- Self-motivated individual – able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Team oriented, flexible and willing to assist in other technical disciplines.
- High level understanding of field instruments, electronic test equipment, control valves, control panels, .
- Ability to use basic hand tools, ladders, manlifts, etc...
