Salary: between $90,000- $100,000 Annually (based on experience)

Here is what is needed to be part of this amazing team:

The Admissions Nurse is a Licensed Registered Nurse who interviews pre-operative patients to gather necessary data to assist the Ambulatory Care RN in admission planning, pre-admission screening and teaching. Must complete all admissions on shift, and have clinical assignments when there is no admissions.

• Must be actively licensed as a RN in Rhode Island
• Must demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures and pre-and post-op care
• Must demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology, abbreviations, and spelling
• Ability to demonstrate the use of various equipment including but not limited to copier, calculator and computer
• Ability to use adult learning principles when teaching patients
• Ability to prioritize and problem solve
• Ability to relate well with physicians
• Primary series of the COVID vaccination (or new bivalent COVID Vaccine or medical exemption)
