MBI Health Services, LLC. is a certified behavioral health agency servicing the D.C. Metropolitan Area. We provide a wide range of services and programs for both adults and children for the sake of helping each individuals gain back their confidence and security into their lives. We partner with several well-­known and highly regarded government healthcare agencies, such as the Department on Behavioral Health, the Department on Disability Services, and the National Institutes of Health.



Care Coordinators work directly with a licensed clinical manager that provides the full array of community support services which includes, but is not limited to assisting individuals in care to develop self-management and daily living skills, increasing social support skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Support of Community Support Workers (CSWs) including the review and approval of CSW encounter notes.
  • Assist clinical team in coordinating care and future healthcare needs.
  • Provide an effective communication link between consumer and clinical team.
  • Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients’ treatment.
  • Collect information about clients through interviews, tests and evaluation of day-to-day functioning within work, family and other routines; identifying areas needing continued support, resources and treatment in order to assist clients.
  • Provide therapeutic services to clients through individual, family and group sessions that are consistent with the current research, professional standards, and MBI’s vision and values (You will be expected to provide a minimum of 10 billable therapy hours per week!).
  • Prepare diagnostic and bio-psychosocial assessments, clinical notes, referrals, and revising treatment plans of clients, as needed.
  • Collaborate with the MBI leadership team, by assisting with identifying, developing, coordinating, and evaluating clinical training for staff to ensure consistency in the MBI
  • Standards of Practice and continued advancement of MBI Health Services, LLC.
  • Assist with developing, implementing and expanding MBI’s services and programs to address identified gaps in mental health and supportive services available to the surrounding community.
  • Provide follow-up and aftercare planning services, as needed.
  • Provide emergency services during working hours and after-hours, as assigned.
  • Attend staff meetings and other activities, which ensure the smooth functioning of clinical operations.
  • All duties and responsibilities must be performed in compliance with the District of Columbia’s Behavioral Health Standards and regulations of MBI Health Services, LLC, and all Federal, State and Local laws applicable to this Agreement.
  • Attend and comply with all company-required trainings.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

 



  • Master’s degree in Social Work, or behavior health related field
  • LGSW or LGPC within 6 months 
  • Training or experience in a health care, human service field or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years in the mental health environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective communication and time management skills 
  • Some experience reviewing and approving notes
