The Guest Services Supervisor will act as an ambassador for the Guest Services and the Resort. Provide leadership to the Guest Services Department which includes the Bell Desk, Shuttle Services and Valet. Responsible for the day-to-day orderly operation of the department.

  • Work from the Guest Services Desk to dispatch Bell calls.
  • Train staff on daily duties including the Forbes arrival/departure process, loading/unloading vehicles & carts, guest communication and engagement as well as other miscellaneous tasks.
  • Consistently maintain an upbeat and positive attitude with guests and colleagues.
  • Ensuring the guest service & transportation desk supplies are stocked.
  • Vehicle and workplace inspections throughout the shift.
  • Keep daily logbooks of various tasks.
  • Ensure the guest arrival and departure experience exceeds Forbes Standards.
  • Drive the shuttle, run luggage or valet vehicles as needed.
  • Ensure all guests’ packages and luggage are stored, tracked and delivered seamlessly, quickly and accurately.
  • Coordinate the support staff and their daily responsibilities.
  • Interact with other departments and assist in solving situations.
  • Use problem solving and decision-making skills to act in the best interest of the department and company.
  • Assist in overseeing the hiring, advising, coaching, disciplinary action and termination of team members.
  • Embrace additional responsibilities as delegated by management to contribute to the overall success of the guest experience.

  • 1+ years of Supervisory experience.
  • Hospitality experience preferred.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to work full-time, flexible schedule, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to stand for an extended period of time as 90-100% of the shift is standing.
  • Ability to multi-task, frequently switching between or simultaneously performing functions in order to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Make decisions based on your own judgment and company policy.
