About the role:
As a Business Analyst you will engage with FIS Transfer Agency clients on their requests for changes to the FIS solutions, they utilize to support their business.  Moreover, Business Analyst are involved with creating solution designs for FIS updates that improve the competitiveness of our product offering and enable us to comply with regulatory requirements and operate in line with industry standards.

About the team:

You would be a part of a team of analysts with various level of experience in the fund industry and technical expertise.  Our team operates in a collaborative manner where we assist each other to provide comprehensive designs and address the requested requirements in the most logical and efficient manner. 

What you will be doing:

  • Work with business partners to identify, analyze, document, and implement requested modifications to existing systems and products and/or development of new systems and files to satisfy business needs and opportunities

  • Work with developers, users, and vendors to ensure proposed design delivers required functionality and document proposed design when necessary

  • Develop process/data flows for assigned projects

  • Lead reviews of business requirements, system design, and manage communication between all stakeholders

  • Participate in reviews of newly proposed projects and review of existing projects to ensure quality and accuracy is delivered to the end-user

  • Support user acceptance testing by reviewing test cases, test results, balancing reports and software defect reports for assigned projects

  • Perform your work duties with an Agile mindset

  • Engage and collaborate with team members

  • Exhibit effective problem-solving skills when dealing with issues and obstacles

  • Strong self-organization skills


What you will need:

  • Direct experience with Transfer Agency technology is preferred, experience with Investor recordkeeping systems is also valued. 

  • General knowledge of Global mutual fund Industry

  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to interactive well with fellow team members

  • Good communications skills

  • Experience with the Agile development approach. 

  • Flexibility to work on a variety of projects.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $65,440.00 - $106,660.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
