Yonkers Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is now hiring a vivacious, energized, engaged, resident focused Recreation Aide who is committed to providing the best life and care for our residents. The primary purpose of the Recreation Aide is to plan, organize and roll out operations of the Recreation Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that an on-going program of activities is designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident.

We are located at 81 S Broadway, Yonkers, NY 10701.

RECREATION AIDE REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in Long Term Care Activities Department is Preferred
• Bilingual Speaker is Preferred
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition & enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning
