Full-Time Bookkeeper - #1697010

A client in Athens, GA is looking for a Full-Time Bookkeeper to perform essential accounting tasks for their business! This role is currently temporary but could turn into a permanent opportunity. Processing payroll and overseeing the broad scope of the company's books will be crucial to the role, and Accounts Payable/Receivable will be secondary responsibilities.

salary: $17 - $19 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records both physically and electronically.
• Manage the general ledger by recording and categorizing transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments.
• Process accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices, expense reimbursements, and employee reimbursements.
• Reconcile accounts receivable and payable balances with bank statements and general ledger records.
• Utilize QuickBooks software proficiently to manage financial data effectively and efficiently.
• Provide support to colleagues on QuickBooks usage and best practices.
